Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 27, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how tools operated under the Kanpai name collect, use, store, and delete information. It applies to Kanpai-operated publishing, scheduling, analytics, and administrative applications, including applications that connect to Meta products such as Facebook Pages.

1. Scope and access model

Kanpai tools are intended for authorized operators. A user may connect only accounts, Pages, businesses, and other digital properties that the user is permitted to access or manage. Kanpai does not publish a public list of the individual Pages, brands, App IDs, Business Portfolios, or commercial properties connected to its systems.

2. Information we process

Account and login information Platform account identifiers, business-user identifiers, name, email address where provided, authentication state, and granted or declined permissions.
Connected Page information Page identifiers, Page names, category, profile metadata, access level, and other basic information required to display and manage Pages selected by an authorized operator.
Authorization information User and Page access tokens, token expiry information, connected-account state, and the permissions granted through the platform authorization flow.
Publishing content Captions, text, links, images, videos, other media, scheduled publication times, queue information, optional first comments, and related publishing instructions submitted by an operator.
Publishing results Published post identifiers, platform responses, timestamps, delivery status, retries, and error information.
Engagement and insights Where enabled and permitted, reactions, comments, shares, views, reach, impressions, and other Page or post performance information.
Technical information IP address, browser or device information, login events, security events, application logs, and diagnostic information.

Kanpai does not intentionally request access to private messages, friends lists, or unrelated personal-profile information. The exact information available depends on the features used, the permissions granted, and the data made available by the connected platform.

3. How we use information

Kanpai processes information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • authenticate authorized operators and maintain secure sessions;
  • display accounts and Pages the operator is permitted to manage;
  • prepare, schedule, publish, edit, or delete requested content;
  • publish requested comments and perform related Page-management actions;
  • display publishing status, post identifiers, errors, and operational history;
  • retrieve and display engagement or performance information where enabled;
  • diagnose failures, prevent misuse, maintain security, and improve reliability;
  • comply with legal obligations and connected-platform terms.

Kanpai does not sell connected-platform data. Kanpai does not use such data to build advertising profiles about individuals or to serve third-party advertising.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be disclosed to the connected platform and to service providers that support Kanpai's operation, such as cloud hosting, database, object-storage, email, monitoring, and security providers. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and are expected to protect it.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or enforce applicable terms. Kanpai does not publish a public list of connected Pages or disclose that list for marketing purposes.

5. Retention

Kanpai retains information only while it is reasonably needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain the relevant internal tool or connected account.

  • Access tokens and connection records: retained while the relevant connection remains active or while needed to operate the authorized integration.
  • Scheduled content: retained until it is published, cancelled, deleted by an operator, or no longer needed for the publishing workflow.
  • Publishing history and performance information: retained while useful for internal operational history, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Security and diagnostic logs: retained only as long as reasonably needed for troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention, and system reliability.

When access is revoked or a verified deletion request is received, Kanpai will promptly delete or de-identify associated information that is no longer required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate internal recordkeeping.

6. Security

Kanpai uses access controls, limited permissions, secret-management practices, encryption where appropriate, network protections, logging, and operational safeguards designed to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Disconnecting an integration

An operator may revoke Kanpai's access through the connected platform's account settings. Revoking access prevents future collection through that connection but may not immediately remove information already retained in Kanpai's systems. Deletion may be requested using the process described below.

8. Access, correction, and deletion

To request access, correction, or deletion, follow the instructions on the Data Deletion page or email privacy@kanpai.io. Kanpai may request enough information to verify the requester and locate the relevant records.

9. Children's privacy

Kanpai tools are intended for business and administrative use and are not directed to children under 13. Kanpai does not knowingly collect personal information from children through these tools.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as the tools, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
